Our full Southern breakfast, cooked “from scratch,” includes juice, fresh fruit, country ham, sausage or bacon, grits, fried apples, soufflé, omelet or other egg dish, and of course, homemade bread, jams, and jellies. We often include other house favorites as well. Special dietary needs are provided with adequate notice.
Breakfast is served in the formal dining room. Table settings are of antique china, silver, crystal, and linens from the owner’s extensive collection. Early risers will find coffee or tea ready by 6:30 A.M. |
The Drawing Room is a study in classical Federal Architecture, antique furnishings, and decorative arts. Of special note is the original hand-carved Adam style heart of pine mantel and wainscoting, as well as the original heart of pine floors found throughout the house. Guests can enjoy afternoon tea or a nightcap while listening to soothing 18th and 19th Century musical compositions in this elegantly appointed room.

| The Solarium, added in the early 20th Century, is the perfect place to enjoy the early morning sun, a cup of coffee, and the newspaper.If you are a night owl, choose a book from our large collection, watch cable television, entertain yourself with a game of cribbage in the solarium, or enjoy our hot tub by candlelight or moonlight. |

The Patio, The calming splash of the garden fountain will immediately sooth your soul. Enjoy sun or shade in one of several secluded garden seating areas while you read, catnap, or bird watch. |
